We were a group of 13 (some staying elsewhere), 4 families, a mixture of adults and teenagers. Where can I start? Let’s start with Bayan and Mat? They were our first point of contact and they were just incredible. Met us in the outskirt of Alcaucin as agreed, led us to Villa Casa Louisa and walked us through this beautiful villa. We loved it from the first sight. The position of the villa, swimming pool, outdoor pizza oven, the terrace, and the view were just amazing. The interior and exterior of this villa are just beautifully put together, aesthetically pleasing, yet practical on every level; from needle to walking sticks, plenty of pots and pans…you name it, everything was at our disposal. We made the most of it, eating breakfast and dinner outside on the terrace enjoying the magnificent view which made it difficult to part from it. The villa is in a good position for sightseeing nearby towns, like Granada and Alhambra, Cordoba, the coast, or just simply choose to go for a walk through olive, orange, lemon, avocado, and almond trees taking in all the pleasant aromas and tranquility of the surrounding. It has good accessible walking paths as it lies just near the Natural Park. There are plenty of leaflets in the villa to help you out. All in all, we had a fabulous time in Casa Louisa and hope to return soon to this beautiful place. Thank you very much for sharing your beautiful villa with us.

The geographical location was phenomenal, with breath-taking views and mediocre termperatures the house is finished to the highest standard: contemporary décor and a mix of modern furniture. It has evidently been designed to combine home comforts with luxury! The multiple balconies and terraces offer panoramic views and a perfect time to tranquilise!

Thank you for creating such a beautiful home … so welcoming and comfortable. We have enjoyed our stay here, gazing forever at the wonderful ever-changing scene around us.

We stayed in the villa for 2 weeks in July 2018. The booking, deposit, payments etc were made with ease and the damage deposit returned promptly too. Jill sent us great welcome information not only about the house but also included activities in the area we might like to know about in advance. We were met on arrival and an initial shop of items was already put away for us (available at a small additional cost). We were immediately taken by the villa. No surprises; everything was exactly as described if not better. The villa was well maintained, appliances all in good order and there was plenty of crockery, glasses etc for the 10 of us. We paid extra for aircon which we felt was necessary in July. That said, there are ceiling fans which would suffice for cooler months. Both adults and kids loved the patios, balcony area and pool. The pool was a good size and pleasant 26C. The pool side area was excellent too having 8 sunbeds, a covered bar/seating area (with fridge) and enough space to spread out. Table tennis table and other games available too. The villa is a 5 min drive or 10-15 min walk to Alcaucin. It’s a nice place with some restaurants/bars, a few convenience shops, a bank and a small weekly market. There’s plenty more within the area to explore. Would we visit again or recommend Villa Casa Louisa? Certainly!
